
Dr. Keshav Dahal

Keshav Dahal is a senior lecturer in the Department of Computing at the
University of Bradford. He is a founding member of Modelling, Optimisation,
Scheduling And Intelligent Control (WWW.MOSAIC.AC)
research group. Prior to joining the University of Bradford he was was with the
Institute for Energy and Environment at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
He also worked as a lecturer at the Institute of Engineering, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Keshav obtained his PhD and MSc degrees from the University of Strathclyde. He
also holds a masters degree in Electric Power Systems from Byelorussian
Polytechnic Institute, Minsk.
Keshav's research interests lie in the areas of evolutionary computation,
scheduling and optimisation, power system modelling, electricity market
modelling, discrete event modelliing and simulation, and technical software
design and development. He has co-edited four books and published over 60 papers
in his research areas. He is a member of the Institutte of Electronic and
Electrical Engineering (MIEEE), Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET)
and the European Network of Excellence in Evolutionary Computing (EvoNet).
